 Jill is a classically trained pianist that has been playing keyboards with The Spirit Theory since September of 2000. She started her musical journey playing classical piano at the age of 7, and has been inspired by such composers as Chopin and Beethoven.
Jill had always dreamed about playing keyboards in a rock band. Also being an amateur photographer, she took photos of The Spirit Theory for the cover of their 1st CD and Blair mentioned that they were looking for a keyboard player. Not knowing much about "rock" piano but wanting to follow a lifelong dream, she offered to do it.
It was the perfect fit and she has been making music with The Spirit Theory ever since. Jill has been inspired by bands and artists such as Coldplay, Elton John, Tori Amos, The Beatles, U2, Pink Floyd, Damian Rice and Amos Lee. Her love for music, being on stage and performing with The Spirit Theory keeps her life fulfilled. |
